FANTASY REVIEW: Warhammer Fantasy: Shaman Slayer (Gotrek and Felix ) - Nathan Long

BOOK BLURB:

Dwarf Trollslayer Gotrek and his human companion Felix Jaeger, Warhammer's most famous pair of heroes, head off to a new adventure in the latest novel of this best-selling fantasy series against a horde of beastmen who threaten the safety of the Empire.

REVIEW:

As a long time fan of the intrepid duo, I really can’t wait for each offering to land. Having missed out on the Audio book featuring them (and if you don’t have it yet, you’ve sadly got to rely on second hand now) I really had to get my hands on this title in order to cheer myself up. What I got, as usual was an epic adventure as they take on a Beast Herd the like of no other ever to threaten the Empire. Classic odds, great fight sequences and above all a tale that will bring old friends back to them as they seek to right what’s gone wrong as part of Gotrek’s Death Quest. Whilst a bit of a cliffhanger at the end the next novel promises a lot and will hopefully deliver. Perhaps not the best book to try the duo for the first time but a cracking series that seems to go from strength to strength.
