REVIEW:
A Science Fiction story that has fairy tale elements, a lead character who brings you into the story and a future world of confusion as well as intrigue then this is the story for you and when you find out it’s a debut on top of that its an impressive story all round. Add to this that it’s also a wonderful YA to Adult title and it’s a story that will appeal to a great many.
The prose is decent, the pace ideal but it’s the characters that really grab the reader, they have full personalities and when that’s backed with flaws as well as positive traits there is someone for every type of reader to latch onto. All in all it’s a wonderful read and a page turner from start to finish, finally, add to the mix a society wide social and environmental apocalypse and it’s a believable world that could happen.
