HISTORICAL URBAN FANTASY REVIEW: The Map of Time - Felix Palma

Release Date: 09/06/11

SYNOPSIS:

BOOK BLURB

REVIEW:

If you want a story that crosses multiple genres as well as giving the reader something different to a lot other books out there, then you really have to try this title by Felix Palma. It has great prose, cracking dialogue and characters that not only grow but hook you from the start with a suicidal chain of events that lead to the greater arc. Its cleverly done, its very inventive and with an omnipotent narrator it’s a story that really is a cracking read.

Add to this that the title has already won awards and it hopefully should allay fears of a potentially bad financial transaction. Finally throw into the blend real historical characters, a touch of Victorian wonderment alongside some wonderful adaptations to events and the reader really does have a treat in store which makes this a cracking offering from Harper Collins.

This sounds really great - award winning too? I'm putting it on my TBR pile!
