FANTASY REVIEW: Warhammer Fantasy: Ulrika the Vampire 3: Bloodsworn - Nathan Long

Release Date: 07/06/12

SYNOPSIS:

I turned to Luke and reached for him. My blood felt as though it had seized up in my veins. "Lanny, what is it?" Luke asked. I clutched his lapel desperately "It's Adair. He's free". For 200 years she's been hiding. He gave her immortality. She tried to destroy him. Now he is searching for her. They must not meet. Or there will be a reckoning.

REVIEW:

Ulrika has really been through the ringer, whether its during her adventures with Felix and Gotrek or after she’s been turned but events within this title bring things to the fore as she has to war against her new instincts alongside what has gone before. The inner turmoil is presented well, the characters interactions vying against her character and when added to Nathan’s prose that leave little space for nonsense.

Add to this some solid combat, a great deal of double dealing with the addition of politics and this title is perhaps Ulrika’s most comprehensive battle yet. Great stuff all in.
