REVIEW:
I’ve had a ton of fun with Snorri’s writing over the previous two titles in the series so knowing that it was all set to climax in this volume, I couldn’t wait to see what the author would do and how he’d manage the gods as well as men within. Its well written, the prose is sharp and if you love good action sequences, the author delivers. The principle characters feel rounded, the way that the action interplays into lulls works wonderfully well allowing recovery time and finally when you add dialogue that just fits them down to a T makes this a series that has been immense fun to enjoy.
Truly a saga for Historical Fantasy fans to enjoy and may the shades continue “flyting” in the hall of heroes. Cracking.

REVIEW:
The cracking second outing for Snorri’s principle characters as the curse from the original really starts to take its toll on our heroes. It’s wonderfully imaginative, has great prose and for anyone looking for some top notch action fiction , this series from Jo’s stable is definitely one I’d recommend.
Add to this cracking pace, solid action sequences and characters that you really can’t wait to spend time around and all round I was a more than happy reader. Great stuff.

REVIEW:
I love a story that takes me into the past and gives me characters that I want to not only spend time around but also gives me a story of possibilities where anything can and occasionally does happen. Here in this debut by Snorri is a tale worthy of the saga poets as the action is hard and bloodthirsty yet there are also tender moments within which give the reader chance to get their breath back. All round a great debut and one that if book two continues to build upon, will bring the author a lot of fans. Great stuff.
