URBAN FANTASY REVIEW: Full Blooded - Amanda Carlson

Release Date: 06/09/12

SYNOPSIS:

Born the only female in an all-male werewolf race, Jessica McClain isn't just different - she's feared. After living under the radar for the last twenty-six years, Jessica is thrust unexpectedly into her first change, a full ten years late. She wakes up and finds she's in the middle of a storm. Now that she's become the only female full-blooded werewolf in town, the supernatural world is already clamouring to take a bite out of her. Now her new Pack must rise up and protect her. But not everyone is on board. There are certain superstitious werewolves who think Jessica means an end to their race - and they're not about to go down without a fight.

REVIEW:

If you love your Urban Fantasy and spending time with shifters, then you’re going to love this book by debut author Amanda Carlson. What occurs within is a story that has cracking pace, some wonderful twists which when backed with not only a kick ass heroine but one that’s tempered with just the right amount of sass accompanied with street smarts enough to know she needs help.

Add to this a cracking set of support characters, just the right blend of action to emotion and all round it’s a real gem. Finally add to the mix a wonderful world for the character to inhabit alongside a Saturday morning type cliff-hanger and all round you really will be in for a treat. I can’t wait to return with book 2 Hot Blooded.
